My career has taken me into the heart of major energy, housing, and transport infrastructure projects. I know what works - and what gets in the way. We need long-term infrastructure strategies that connect communities, boost local economies, and prepare Britain for the future.
That means better roads and railways, cleaner energy, faster broadband, and flood defences that protect homes and businesses. But it also means smarter planning—ensuring that new development happens in the right places, with the right community input, and is backed by investment in services like schools and GP surgeries.
We also need to take resilience seriously. From supply chain shocks to extreme weather, I campaign for joined-up thinking in how we future-proof the country—so we’re not just reacting to crises, but ready for them.
