Sean Houlston recently joined members of West Hill Conservatives as guest speaker at their St George’s Lunch fundraiser in West Hill Village Hall, where he spoke about the importance of supporting employers, rebuilding economic confidence and the political opportunity ahead for the Conservative Party.
The event brought together members from across the Honiton and Sidmouth constituency and highlighted the strength of local association activity in sustaining campaigning between elections.
During his remarks, Sean reflected on his experience representing employers in the construction sector, the risks posed by recent employment reforms to business confidence, and the lessons learned from standing in recent parliamentary campaigns. He also emphasised the central role association members play in keeping the Party active, organised and ready to win again.
Sean Houlston said:
“It was a real pleasure to join West Hill Conservatives for their St George’s Lunch and I am very grateful to members for such a warm welcome. Events like this show the strength of our associations and the commitment of members who keep campaigning all year round. I wish everyone involved every success in the months ahead.”
