This was always going to be a challenging election, but thanks to the incredible efforts of my local team, we held our position, stood up for rural communities and put some key local issues on the map.
Thank you to everyone who stuck with us and voted Conservative in the election.
I also want to express my sincere thanks to my campaign manager, our brilliant volunteers, dedicated councillors, CCHQ, Cheshire and Wirral Area Conservatives, and our Federation.
With a small team and limited resources, we delivered an energetic, disciplined and focused campaign that reached thousands across our community.
It was an honour to stand for Conservative values and to champion the families, businesses, and rural communities of our area.
As Kemi Badenoch has rightly said, the renewal of our party has only just begun – and I remain firmly committed to that mission.
